Eight Strings & a Whistle loves to do more than play concerts. We can bring music into your community in a variety of ways, offering innovative and audience-friendly programs, as well as short- and long-term residencies for community arts organizations, colleges and universities, and elementary, middle and high schools.  These enrichment offerings can include traditional master classes and/or workshops. Eight Strings & a Whistle will work with you to customize a residency specially suited to your interests.

Residencies

We’ve conducted many successful residencies, taking our interactive musical experiences to organizations including the Arcady Festival, Schoodic Arts for All, the Bar Harbor Music Festival and Skidmore College. Read more »
