We are looking forward to our upcoming annual concert at TCI!

Daydreams and Other Realities will feature the world premiere of  A Midsummer’s Daydream by the winner of our 2024 8SW Composer Competition, Zoe Yost. Composer, violist and poet, Yost has written a spectacular, vibrant and whimsical trio that 8SW is very excited to present. We will also be premiering Timothy Bowlby’s Trio for 4 Instruments, a fast paced romp with twists and turns that will take you on a crazy ride. Please be sure to check out Tim’s 8SW Featured Composer interview here.

Stanley Grill’s The Whirr of Wings is a swirl of colors. The wonderful Bess Morrison will be joining us to narrate the poems which inspired this work.
The program is rounded out with Robert Davidson’s energetic Bond Over Triads and a graceful Trio Sonata in F by J.G. Graun.
